武汉市是地处华中地区，位于长江中下游。长江和最长支流汉水将武汉一分为三，形成了武昌、汉阳、汉口三镇。
Située au confluent du Chang Jiang et de la rivière Han (en sinogrammes ou Han Jiang), Wuhan est la réunion de trois arrondissements qui se faisaient face de part et d'autre de ces deux cours d'eau : Wuchang, Hanyang et Hankou.
Wuhan lies at the intersection of the middle reaches of the Yangtze and Han River, arise out of the conglomeration of three boroughs, Wuchang, Hanyang and Hankou.
