Legal Usage

Markus_g has received advice in April 2010 from the Department for Environment and Heritage - South Australian Government regarding the appropriate use of the South Australia National Parks datasets. The statement was as follows.

"The data you have is licenced under the creative commons licence for use on the data.australia.gov.au site. If you wish to use the data on openstreetmap then please do so but please retain the creative commons licence."

The conditions of the CC-BY licence as stated on data.australia.gov.au is that attribution must be declared. The attribution text for derived data must include: "http://www.naturemaps.sa.gov.au"
