Gfoss.it is the italian community of users and developers of Geographic Free/Open-Source Software (GFOSS).

GFOSS brings together a broad group of people, from all parts of Italy, who are active in the development and in the use of free GIS in various sectors: from business, to research and academia, to public administrations. The Italian GFOSS community is one of the most important and active worldwide, both in terms of users and developers. GFOSS.it is formally founded as an association in Italy. Whoever shares our principles is invited to join the association and take part in its activities. Universities, research centres, institutions and companies using free software are invited to support the development of the association, through partnerships and sponsorship.
