Place template
There are syntax differences between Template:Place and Template:FR:Place which lead to different outcomes if the value of 'type' is given as 'town'. In the Place version, 'town' → categorization in 'towns in...'; in the FR:Place version, 'town' → categorization in 'town in...'. Therefore, to achieve consistency in categorization without code changes, the value 'towns' for 'type' needs to be provided in FR:Place. --Ceyockey 18:34, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- I've re-implemented Template:Place as Template:fr:Place to match how Template:Place does things. I'll go through the pages using Template:FR:Place to make sure they use the "new and improved" template. j-beda 17:06, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
- I have moved everything over to Template:fr:Place except for the English and French pages of France which breaks formatting if using the "new and improved" template. I'll try to fix those pages, then we can redirect Template:FR:Place to Template:fr:Place and have everything work consistently. j-beda 18:04, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
