Cheshire is a county in North West England at latitude 53°13′48.00″ North, longitude 2°34′12.00″ West.
Cheshire is a ceremonial county in the North West of England.
As of 1 April 2009, the county consists of four unitary authorities:
Prior to 1 April 2009, there was a county council with six district councils, in addition to the Halton and Warrington Unitary Authorities.
