The Chesterfield Round Walk 68834 68834 is a 55km hiking trail that runs around the town. The South Chesterfield Way 1069861 1069861 (incomplete route - can you find the signs on the ground to fill in the gaps?) runs south to Clay Cross.

The Five Pits Trail 68812 68812 is a cycle/horse/walking trail that runs from Grassmoor country park south of Chesterfield to the Silverhill Trail 68824 68824, which then runs east towards Sutton in Ashfield.
