Digiroad

Digiroad is a national database administrated by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency (FTIA) and operated by a third party contracted with FTIA. The database contains the geometry of the Finnish road and street network featured with the most important road attribute data. It is in use free of charge as open data. This document is an introduction to how the Digiroad operator uses and contributes to OpenStreetMap.

Main activities overview

• Maintain nationally unique identifiers for bus stops when necessary
• Conduct Data imports when necessary

So far Digiroad operator has been involved in one data import:

• Finland:Digiroad/Digiroad bus stop import (2019)

Participants

The team consists of the following active OSM users:

• Digiroad-operaattori (on osm, edits, contrib, heatmap, chngset com.) (supervision and occasional edits)
• Digiroad-operaattori_ei (on osm, edits, contrib, heatmap, chngset com.) (assisting with editing tasks)
