The former two related OSM-projects, from Florian Lohoff, and Sven Anders Straßenlisten, were given up by them. I've got the street lists and created a new application to bring the same results, as before.

Warum ist das Projekt für die OSM-Community interessant?/Why is this project interesting to the OSM community?

Having street names from cities and communities is one of the key features of OSM.

Welche spezielle Software brauchst Du?/What special software will you need?

At this time, only java is necessary (using postgres and postgis). Static result pages are being created, but a dynamically version should be better, i would prefer use of tomcat together with java.

Additionaly, i need a wiki software, so that the osm-contributors are able to work on the street lists. I started tests with mediawiki and would prefer this wiki. It works with postgres RDBMS (so no mysql is necessary, which is mediawiki 1st DB-solution).

Welche Ressourcen brauchst Du?/What resources will you need?

At this time, i need about 2 GB of disk space. For a complete calculation of all streetlist (abount 6500 lists are stored, from Germany (mostly), Luxembourg (all), some from Austria and Switzerland, it would take about 4 hours on a local small machine, so i suggest 1-2h a day on a bigger machine. I try to reduced the calculation time to only affected street lists/areas.

Wo ist der Source-Code?/Where is your source code?

At this time, only available on server. License is some sort of GNU. Could be put later on a repository of osm, for example.

Welche Daten brauchst Du?/What data do you need?

Data: Planet-Extract with germany, luxembourg, austria and switzerland (DACHL). Frequency: at least weekly-updates, better daily. Scheme: either osm2pgsql (actual it runs on this), i would prefer hstore-all (and i test -extraattributes) or a osmosis scheme (earlier it ran on this scheme).

No related project at this time. Project Administrative Grenzen in OSM used same admin relations in osm, could be linked together.
