Incorrect tagging
Hi! Thank you for making this OSM Carto style drawing, it looks nice! But please either remove or extend the area of landuse=railway to cover the whole railway station (which begins at its entry signals on both sides) and the open line on both sides. Also, please replace ref=* with local_ref=* at both places—it was agreed in a Community Forum discussion. Or, if you disagree with this, please reply to this comment. And please add a white background to the text boxes in order to make the texts readable even with a dark background under the image. Thank you in advance! Gymate (talk) 17:41, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- landuse=railway is for land used for railway purposes, hence the current depiction is misleading, the area should be extended beyond the station. --Dieterdreist (talk) 09:45, 15 April 2024 (UTC)

No, it doesn't. Railway=station is a place where the *public* catch trains, it's not defined by signals, switches, cross-overs or junctions.
> Also, please replace ref=* with local_ref=*
This diagram, and the webpage it is on, is for Railway=station alone; it has nothing to do with the public_transport schema. local_ref has nothing to do with railway=* schema.

Under what circumstances are you using a dark background that doesn't auto-change black text to white? --DaveF63 (talk) 09:44, 18 April 2024 (UTC)- I've replied in the Community Forum. Gymate (talk) 19:17, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
