Flood Marking

കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രളയത്തിലെ ജലനിരപ്പ് എന്നേക്കുമായി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി പ്രളയത്താൽ ബാധിക്കപ്പെട്ട സർക്കാർ കെട്ടിടങ്ങൾ, വൈദ്യുത കാലുകൾ, തദ്ദേശസ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപന കെട്ടിടങ്ങൾ, വിദ്യാലയങ്ങൾ, ആശുപത്രികൾ, പൊതു ഗ്രന്ഥശാലകൾ, പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ, സർക്കാർ എയ്ഡഡ് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തപ്പെട്ട ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന ജല നിരപ്പിൽ പ്രളയ രേഖാ ഫലകം സ്ഥിരമായി സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതിന് സംസ്ഥാന ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ അതോറിറ്റി തീരുമാനിച്ചു.

How to map flood mark

Place a node at the location of the flood mark. Tag with historic=flood_mark and appropriate flood_mark key value:

flood_mark=plaque - as first image above (made of metal, rock, wood),
flood_mark=painting - as second image above,
flood_mark=engraving - usually inscription (made on rock, wall),
flood_mark=pole - usually with several marks,
flood_mark=yes - otherwise.

historic=flood_mark - historical significance
flood_date=* - the date of the flood written as yyyy-mm-dd (alternatives: yyyy-mm and yyyy); following date=* syntax
inscription=* - the text of an inscription that may be found on the flood mark
location=* - indoor, outdoor
source=* - source of information
note=* - additional information
tourism=attraction

How to map high_water_mark

Place a node at the location of the high water mark.

flood_date=* - the date of the flood written as yyyy-mm-dd
high_water:height=* - height from the ground
historic=memorial - historical significance
memorial:type=high_water_mark - type of memorial

support=* - wall_mounted , pole
inscription=* - the text of an inscription that may be found on the high water mark
