A tool library is a place where patrons can check out or borrow tools, equipment and "how-to" instructional materials. This is typically volunteer run. A small fee might be asked in the form of a yearly membership or per hire. Alternatively, a donation might be asked.

Optional tags

membership=required if one needs to subscribe before using the tool library. membership=no can be used if no membership is possible; membership=optional if one can take a membership but it is not strictly required (but it might e.g. give a discount)

charge:membership=* to indicate the cost of membership, e.g. charge:membership=€40/year

fee=* to indicate if a fee is asked every time a tool is borrowed (assuming that the membership is already paid)
