The key ref:ipac is an external reference used by the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage (ACPC, by its acronym in Catalan) in Catalonia, Spain, to identify cultural heritage objects listed in the Catalogue of Catalonia's Architectural Heritage (IPAC, by its acronym in Catalan).
Definitions
Heritage protection classes
- BIC: acronym for Bién de Interés Cultural. Highest protection class at national level in Spain.
- BCIN: acronym for Bé Cultural d'Interès Nacional. Highest protection class at national level in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Often a BCIN is also registered as BIC.
- BCIL: acronym for Bé Cultural d'Interès Local
