Mapping progress
On the overall, most of Muntinlupa has been mapped in detail, but updating is in a slow pace. Buildings, streets, and land use are the current priority tasks.
As of January 2018, most buildings (or parts, especially of high-rises) are still missing, though, many buildings around the West Valley Fault are mapped as part of earthquake preparedness mapping by User:Schadow1. Much of Muntinlupa has been missing building outlines, that may be helpful to disaster response, especially when a earthquake strikes. Most buildings currently mapped are on Ayala Alabang (Ayala Alabang Village, Madrigal Business Park), Alabang, Tunasan (various subdivisions and the vicinity of National Road), Cupang, Buli, Sucat, Poblacion (vicinity of National Road, NBP Reservation, Katarungan Village), Putatan (Lakeview Homes, Soldiers Hills, vicinity of National Road), and Bayanan.
Most roads are now mapped, but some gaps are to be filled, such as unnamed roads, especially those in residential areas. But, street names are mostly complete already, just requiring update or additions.
Subdivisions, and residential compounds are also one subject on mapping, but those may have fell out of date, especially on the compounds, usually slum areas, that may have been demolished and have been replaced by new development.
Tunasan
Mostly complete.
Road network almost complete. Places along National Road (Daang Maharlika/Manila South Road - Muntinlupa) slowly added. Indoor mapping on SM Center Muntinlupa almost complete, with minor fixing.
More schools needs to be changed to polygons
Poblacion
Mostly complete.
Mostly concentrated on the National Road area. Buildings and places realigned and adjusted. Buildings are added slowly.
Putatan
Mostly complete.
Mainly concentrated on the National Road and Lakeview areas. Places are slowly added, especially on the Lakeview area. Road realignments done slowly. House and address mapping started. A few subdivisions has to be re-mapped to land use.
Alabang
Mostly complete.
Festival Mall indoor map partially updated, and expansion building added. Starmall Alabang indoor map still not done. Car dealer names near Westgate need to be changed to follow the signed names.
Ayala Alabang
Mostly done. Work still done on Madrigal Business Park and Alabang Town Center.
Alabang Town Center indoor map is yet to be done.
