Hovedbanen / Trunk Line

The oldest public railway line in Norway, opened 1 September 1854, running from Oslo to Eidsvoll.

  • Oslo S - Brynsbakken: missing
  • Brynsbakken - Strømmen: modern alignment mapped, not checked for earlier changes
  • Strømmen - Sagdalen: modern alignment mapped, some earlier changes mapped
  • Sagdalen - Lillestrøm: mapped from 1939 - 2024
  • Lillestrøm - Eidsvoll: modern alignment mapped. Changes due to Gardermobanen are missing.

The most important tracks are mapped from 1904 to 1980, but adjacent yards and track changes are missing. After 1980 nothing has been mapped.

Lørenskog

Tracks existing as of 2024 have been mapped, older track changes have not been mapped. No platforms have been mapped.

Hanaborg

2024 tracks have been mapped and don't appear to have moved compared to 1946, but this has not been checked in detail. No platforms have been mapped. The station opened in 1956, but this is not mapped.

Fjellhamar

2024 tracks have been mapped. The historic connection to Losbylinja prior to 1941 is missing. Platforms are missing.

Strømmen

2024 tracks have been mapped. Some historic tracks have been mapped, including the factory / maintenance tracks, but this is not complete.

Lillestrøm

  • 1946: passenger tracks have been added, platforms and freight tracks are missing
  • 1950: passenger tracks and platforms have been added, freight tracks are missing
  • 1962: main station has been added, a few tracks to the east are missing
  • 1998 - 2024: main station layout has been added, the additional yard to the east is missing

Leirsund

The new station built for Gardermobanen in 1998 has been mapped with tracks and a station node. The platform and historic station is missing.

Frogner

2024 tracks and station point mapped. Missing platform and historic versions.

Lindeberg

2024 tracks and station point mapped. Missing platform and the pre-Gardermobanen version.

Kløfta

2024 tracks and station point mapped. Missing platforms, pre-1998 station and pre-1920 station.

Jessheim

Modern tracks mapped, missing platforms and possible historic versions

Nordby

Hauerseter

Dal

Eidsvoll

Station points have been mapped for pre- and post-1998 locations. Modern tracks are partially mapped. Platforms and historic track layouts are missing. The station and layout was significantly rebuilt for Gardermobanen.
