Pulaski Heights
This project is to create a map showing Pulaski Heights' growth from c. 1888.
Overview
Pulaski Heights is considered Little Rock's example of a 20th Century streetcar suburb. In addition to its heritage as a streetcar suburb, development of "the Heights" and "Highlands" marked a shift in Little Rock's expansion toward western parts of Pulaski County. Also significant in terms of its role in future cultural distributions, plurality, and identities.
