This template is copied and modified from Vi:Main Page/Map and Philippines/Map. This template embeds a map onto the very top of various Portugal-related pages.
The map displays a given location and zoom level, specified by a template (see below). To integrate the map more into the portal's design, the map is trimmed to hide the standard OpenLayers controls. (Hiding the attribution line is usually unacceptable, but it just happens that the map's attribution matches this wiki's.)
Usage

The unnamed first parameter should be the name of a location template of the form:

To make the portal appear slightly more dynamic, you can predicate the parameter's value on the day of the week or time of day. The locations can be well-mapped areas, places that have been in the news lately, or simply the world map.
