Powys is a county in Wales at latitude 52°19′59.88″ North, longitude 3°25′00.12″ West.
About
Powys is the largest of the 22 principal areas in Wales, and covers much of the England/Wales border. Much of Powys is mountainous making travel difficult.
As well as being a modern principal area, Powys is also a preserved county, though with minor differences along the northern section of border.
