Proposal talk:Kosher

feel free :D

I support the need for such a tag. Maybe "lemehadrin min halemehadrin" could be "lemehadrin-min-halemehadrin"? Don't like spaces in enums... Is it possible (and is it common) to have more then one kind of kashrut for the same shop? Would it also be useful to tag if the shop sells dairy or meat foods, or both? It might be possible to create a broader system to capture the style of food served (Italian kitchen etc.) and standards met: kosher,muslim,vegetarian,vegan,no-dairy etc. Reminds me of buying a flight ticket and selecting the meal... --Talba 08:44, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

The cusine type is made by cuisine=*.
Maybe to deal with multi-certification we can use a ; delimited list --EdoM (lets talk about it) 12:21, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
This has nothing to do with cuisine - you can cook kosher or not in any cuisine. --Lulu-Ann 12:29, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
of course! :D --EdoM (lets talk about it) 13:39, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
I suggest using diet:kosher=* as proposed for vegetarian and vegan food. --Burnus 09:34, 25 April 2011 (BST)
I like this suggestion too. Also, diet:halal=*, similarly. Njaard 17:26, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
