Proposal
Significant fossils may be part of natural features or of man made constructions. These attract considerable attention - they can be the topic of walks or even books. Especially as "urban fossils" they are attracting attention.
Just like trees, they can be significant enough to map. Only objects in a fixed location should be mapped.
Rationale
Fossils are natural by definition. Though they can be part of artefacts, in essence, they remain natural objects in themselves.
Tagging
Relevant tags are mostly a matter of context
