A person museum exists to inform visitors about the life and works of a notable person by collecting and displaying photographs, documents and other objects associated with the individual. This kind of museum is typically named after its subject, and the building it occupies often be a former residence of that person. In the latter case, its name may follow the convention, "The [person's name] House-museum". It is also known as a biographical museum.
Just because a museum is named after a person does not mean that the museum is about that person. A person museum maintains a collection of letters, tools, clothing, furniture, and other personal items specific to that individual. There may be exhibitions of works that are not directly associated with the person, but these are temporary and do not replace the main exhibits about the person.
How to map
Create a node at the center of the museum, or draw an area marking the building footprint.
Tag it with tourism=museum + museum=person
Add building=* if necessary. Consider building=museum or a combination of building=house + building:use=museum
