Business routes of Arizona state highways, known as State Business Routes, are bannered auxiliary routes, servicing the business district of a city, town or municipality of its designated parent highway. Internally, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) also designates Interstate business loops as state business routes, using the same number as the parent Interstate, although these routes are not signed or referenced as such in the field.
