The parking:lane:hgv=* key was used to tag parking facilities for trucks (at the roadside) in commercial areas. This applies when:
- parking is not prohibited
- the road is wide enough to drive past a parked truck
- parking for trucks is not prohibited.
It is convenient if there is a toilet, snack bar and shopping facilities nearby.
