Tag:refitted=yes

This tag is to be used on any natural feature (springs on which a spout have been added, trees which went through pruning, peaks which summit have been flatened for tourists…) which has been altered, modified by human hand. It does not apply to natural features which appeared because of human actions, as this is a different meaning, covered by anthropogenic=yes.

This tag has been approved by a sinkhole-related proposal, but it can be used for any natural feature which has been altered by human.

Example

The geographic source of the Loire river, in France, would be tagged this way:
