Also arch bridge?
Would this also be an arch bridge? (The arch is on top of the bridge, not below)

- No. We don't seem to have an exact fit, semms a mix of suspension and truss but it really needs an own type.. does wikipedia have a typename for it? RicoZ (talk) 22:15, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
- This looks to be a Tied Arch bridge (or Bowstring bridge) according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tied-arch_bridge and http://pghbridges.com/basics.htm. Pkoby (talk) 23:15, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Don't combine with man_made=bridge?
The tag "describe[s] the load-bearing architecture of individual bridge spans." This makes sense because different spans can have different structures. The sidebar indicates that it's not meant to be used on an area. However, it lists man_made=bridge as a "useful combination" (which seems to imply the tags can be used on the same object) despite that tag indicating that it should *only* be used on areas, and should only be used to outline the entire bridge. Should man_made=bridge be removed from the sidebar? - Tguen (talk) 03:49, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
