Talk:Key:diocese

Diocese and deanery are territorial units. For this reason we should use relations with boundary=religious_administration + admin_level=6 (for diocese) or. admin_level=7 (for deanery). (See: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Key:boundary#Roman_Catholic ). I know that sometimes we cannot create the relation for the diocese (because of lack of data). In these casesI suggest to use is_in:diocese=* and is_in:deanery=*

International Formatting

It would be good for there to be stated formatting standards for dioceses per country standards. Mostly wanting coherence of data to improve through standardization. Thoughts? Always Dreamin (talk) 18:35, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
