Tag status etc

What makes this tag defacto exactly? Was there ever a proposal or vote on it? If not, im changing the status to "in use." Im also removing the strike out of cloths=motorcycle. The tags don't cancel each other out and both can be used, but by forcing yours to be the favored one your screwing over a lot of software out that doesn't support your key and uses clothes=motorcycles instead.

Also did you do a mass migration/import of the shop=clothes tag to this one in mid 2017? Which effectively zeroed it out? If so, it was extremely inappropriate of you. You can accuse everyone on here who disagrees with of being a paid obstructionist shill (which I do myself sometimes because im pretty sure some of them are.), but there's still basic rules that should followed, for good reason. You cant just mass transfer things or do mass imports (which it seems like you have done) and you have to go through the proper procedure to get your tag in wide use. Thats life. This database is used beyond just you.

p.s. Im not a paid shill. If you acuse me of being one I'll just laugh in your face and work that much harder to undermind you for it (which im not doing at all this point and probably wont if I get clear, civil answers).

I'm not sure what you're talking about.

clothes=motorcycle appears exactly 3 times, what's it all about ?

shop=clothes has nothing to do with motorcycle:clothes=* (except that there are motorcycle clothes shops, which usually also sell motorcycle:parts=*,
so I assume they shouldn't be called a clothes shop ?)

Doesn't seem that shop=clothes has been "effectively zeroed out"

Please be more precise what triggered your paranoia (that's what it currently seems to me, to be honest).

Go to here compare the tagging charts for clothes and motorcycle:clothes. The usage of Motorcycle:clothes goes up dramatically at the same exact time the usage clothes goes down the same amount. Which is also at the same time in April of 2017 that you created this and other articles like motorcycle:parts where the same thing happened. That's not paranoia.
