more general approach for icon collections

Hi, wouldn't it be nice to make a bigger step in contributing icons for osm? I'm thinking about some kind of contest for www.openclipart.org people. For that reason there should be pure .svg icons contributed in single-colour, low color and shading colour resolution. There could be Iconsets for local signs (e.g. traffic signs) and for international icons. This icons can be used to manipulate the icon itself e.g. put it in an circle or box to get an coporate design. The whole packs can be contributed by packages to use distribute it to third party developers --!i! 08:34, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
