- The list here is just a copy from the list on the website of the Birmingham Civic Society. Your blue plaque has been errected by the Sutton Coldfield Civic Society. It might be interesting to see if the Sutton Coldfield society has a list as well. --Xoff 17:45, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
What's the tag?
what's the tag for a blue plaque? -- Harry Wood 18:40, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- Found a mailing list post suggesting:
- So I guess I'll go with that
- -- Harry Wood 22:00, 2 September 2010 (BST)
- Doesn't render too well with such a long 'name' though: node:893431318 -- Harry Wood 09:53, 13 September 2010 (BST)
And now I've found an example mapped by User:Xoff node 569700960 with tags:
- historic=memorial
- memorial=plaque
- scheme=Blue Plaques
- erected_by=Greater London Council
- name=Friedrich Engels (the name of the famous person who lived there)
- inscription=Friedrich Engels, 1820-1895, Political Philosopher lived here 1870-1894 (Full text written on the plaque)
Looks good to me. I guess I'll document this on a proposal page somewhere
- Sounds good!Rw 18:01, 30 September 2010 (BST)

- There's a slightly different tag memorial=blue_plaque which is documented to some extent now. Discussed here: Talk:Key:memorial#Blue plaques
