hi, I don´t know Geobase/NRCan.

But if you give type=protected_area type=Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Association Areas

thats different content-results für one key-term.

I would hesitate, saying simlpy "type" because its to commen and "overused". I prefere protection_type. http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:boundary=protected_area

In WDPA you can search by the proper name of an area. That give a correct categorie - related to the Protected Area-site. Don´t it? "Migratory Bird Sanctuary" seems to be the only protection term in WDPA - and you finde it in nearby every level ... cheers --Typoshrub 16:50, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
