Discussion
Suggestion: some way to indicate the presence of a printer, or scanner could come in handy. Perhaps, printer=xxxx, scanner=xxxx. --Magnunor 13:22, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Using amenity to tag rooms doesn't feel right. Could we have a common tagging of "rooms available to students"? E.g. room=yes, type=lab|computerlab|auditorium|group|etc.. --Rumander 10:43, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Re reserved_for=*. Are we sure this is the way rooms are allocated? Isn't is study programmes (e.g. MTDT, MIDT, BIT, MIT) rather than department that's used? --Rumander 13:01, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
Tagging rooms as rooms is a great idea. And I think most rooms use study programmes instead of depertments for verification. Some rooms are open for all of the students of a certain faculity, but it should be possible to use study programmes where it's most suitable and faculity where that is more suitable. --Espenso 20:22, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Changed the tags so that rooms are rooms now. --Espenso 22:58, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Think we should limit "reserved_for" to only using study programme codes, as these are the only abbreviations guaranteed to be unique. Faculties and departments may not have unique abbr., and there may be conflicting names of programmes and departments (in the future) --Rumander 23:48, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
