Stable
On riding page, stables are tagged building=stable, and the german page of OSMC Reitkarte use amenity=stables.
Does OSMC Reitkarte support both, which one is preferred ?
- Only amenity=stables is supported. One riding stables can have many stables buildings, so it makes no sense to mark them on the map. --Nop (talk) 10:35, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
So, to map "stables" (écuries in french), we have :
- One area with tag amenity=stables or leisure=horse_riding
And inside :
- Zero, one or more building=stable
- Zero, one or more landuse=animal_keeping and animal_keeping=horse and animal_keeping:type=open_stable
That's right ?
In this case, we should update the page Riding and create the page for amenity=stables ? --Pyrog (talk) 06:43, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
- Almost. amenity=stables marks the stables, but they could be private stables. leisure=horse_riding means that it offers public riding. --Nop (talk) 20:43, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
Shop
OSMC Reitkarte list it as "Reitbetriebe".
But Reitbetriebe "mean" a building=stable or a leisure=sports_centre with sport=equestrian. Is it ?
- This is a problem caused by a secondary tag sport=equestrian often used without any main tag to mark riding stables. Sports_centre is wrong in most cases, fits only a few huge horse sports institutions. Most private and commercial riding stables are best described by amenity=stables. But the riding map makes an effort to filter out sports shops - if you can see them that's a bug. Please give the id of the object(s) so I can fix that. --Nop (talk) 10:40, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
This is the node 1446381516. You could remove automatically objects with tags shop=sports and sport=equestrian ? --Pyrog (talk) 06:43, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
