I notice that also in Belgium the timetables are taken from Deutsche Bahn. This works for large rail stations, but not for bus and tram. Like DB, Belgian rail also uses the HAFAS timetable system and provides the neccesary information at

Would it be possible to link to the Belgian rail for the timetable information in Belgium?

disused=yes and amenity=library

I noticed you're already filtering out stops tagged as disused=yes, which is a great idea. It would be even more awesome if you applied the same kind of filtering to stops tagged with amenity=library. The reason for this is that there are library bus stops that are tagged with the combination highway=bus_stop + amenity=library, and while mapping them is a perfectly good idea, they're not all that relevant to people looking to use public transport: you can't hop on a library bus and ride it somewhere, or at least I don't know of any library buses you can ride like regular ones. —Joemppe 14:31, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi & thanks for this suggestion! However I'm not sure if it's wise to tag library-bus stops with highway=bus_stop. IMHO this 'mobile library' is not a bus at all. A bus is defined as a vehicle to transport passengers. Books are not people. Applying this logic you could also tag you private parking space as 'bus stop' if your vehicle is an old bus which you have furnished to a campmobile. Yes, that is an another option. There's no established tagging schema for mobile libraries, though, so I'm just going with how other people are tagging them.

On the other hand, library bus stops tend to share physical characteristics with "people" bus stops. There's often a bus bay, platform, sign and, importantly, there will occasionally be a huge fricking vehicle there blocking traffic. In that sense, tagging them as, or similarly to, bus stops seems appropriate.

Now that I look into it, however, it does seem there are more mobile library stops that aren't tagged as bus stops than ones that are. —Joemppe 01:28, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
