Polygon
Shouldn't an OSM area be called a polygon instead of simply an area? --Jgpacker (talk) 16:32, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
Semantics of Relations
When an attempt is made to describe what relations are, we often state that they express "how other elements work together". On a very basic level, that appears to be true: Relations have other elements as members. But semantically, many relations actually describe a real-world entity (e.g. a bridge, a bus route, a tunnel, a destination traffic sign, a hiking route, a street etc.), not really a relationship. Perhaps we can describe that on this page? --Tordanik 09:59, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
