date:survey and extreme/erroneous precision in the date

has this import been discussed on the import list? it uses date:survey instead of survey:date I think that dates should/must also be strongly rounded: date:survey=2008-12-11T01:00:00+01:00 could easily be simplified into survey:date=2008-12-11 or survey:date=2008 as it is so old that day and month don't matter anymore for osm Marc marc (talk) 16:56, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
