Kleine Frage zu den Referenzen: Habe gerade gesehen, dass die Hauptseite geändert wurde wie folgt:

ref - a reference - The route is named by this reference (e.g. "4" number found on sign), don't use ncn_ref or rcn ref, this is specified by the network tag.

Ich habe jedoch festgestellt, dass bei Benutzung von "ref", die jeweiligen Routen nicht in der Cyclemap erscheinen, bei ncn_ref und rcn_ref jedoch schon.

Irgendwie gibt's da glaube ich ein Durcheinander - kann bitte jemand Klarheit schaffen? Möchte nur wissen, ob ich jetzt meine Routen ändern muss ;-)

• So wie ich das sehe, soll man bei Relationen(Routen) ref=#, network=[nrl]cn verwenden, für einzelne Wege jedoch [nrl]cn_ref = #. Wahrscheinlich wei l ein Weg zuerst eine Strasse mit ref und anschliessend zum Velonetzwerk gehört. Bist du sicher dass zweites nicht gerendert wird?
  • Ich hab mal ganz frech die Route 41 in eine Relation gepackt und die Tags bei den Ways entfernt um zu sehen wies gerendert wird. Sieht nicht schlecht aus oder? studerap 09:58, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Route 23

• Enschuldigen fuer English, aber ich spreche nur ein bischen Deutsch. I see Route 23 (Basel-?), for example, showing up on the map in light blue, but I don't see on the list of routes or progress. If it is complete, shouldn't it still be on the list? -- RickH86 19:01, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
  • It's not on the list because nobody added it :) There are about 9 national and 21 regional routes, so some more are missing. studerap 06:48, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

How to map the International Routes? Any idea how to map the international routes like: [E6 EuroVelo] and [Dreiland-Radweg]. Should we take the same key as for the National Routes? Zapfen 14:56, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Setting the ref=* key to E6 and network=icn should be sufficient. --Andy 00:12, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Technically, the Dreiland-Radweg is a regional route (according to the web link you provided), even though it is international. RickH86 04:15, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

I've used rcn for each of those and added a note that this is temporary, as there is no legend for icn on the cyclemap yet.RickH86 10:03, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Route 3

I've noticed while editing that Route 3 occurs in the relations as Nord-Süd-Route, Basel-Chiasso, but also the section from Basel occurs as Basel - Aarau. Should we be using the section name, the Route name, or both? The section I added this week, I added to both relations (assuming I did that correctly), since both were existing. Mountain bike routes

How are we going to handle mountain bike routes? They are national and regional routes, and the numbers duplicate the Veloschweiz routes. RickH86 16:57, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Yes good question. How do you tag the ways? For the small tracks we can't use: cycleway: track and highway: cycleway. Zapfen

Why can't we use cycleway: track, and use the tracktype: grade1 - grade5? I haven't done any of the mtn bike routes yet, but I thought it should be decided before I started. RickH86 19:02, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

I guess we'll use route=mtb, as I was told this is used elsewhere, and ref=#. Hopefully they can use a different color on cyclemap.org to differentiate MTB routes from Bicycle routes RickH86 18:47, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Aufteilung von Routen in Abschnitte

Ist es wirklich notwendig, die Routen in Abschnitte aufzuteilen? Ich plane gerade eine Radtour durch die Schweiz und würde gerne die Relationen der Routen als GPX-File herunterladen, um die Tour auszuarbeiten. Es wäre um einiges einfacher, wenn jede Route nur aus einer Relation bestehen würde. Eine "Superrelation" hilft da auch nicht. Es ist einfacher einen Track nach Belieben aufzuteilen, als viele Einzelabschnitte zusammenzufügen. Mein Vorschlag: Von jeder Route die Relation mit der kleinsten Nummer verwenden und diese auf die gesamte Route anwenden. --KK-O 13:41, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Dagegen. Bei den Etappen handelt es sich um eine Information, die nicht verloren gehen sollte (was bei einer grossen Relation passieren würde). Auf der Hauptseite sind nun alle 60 vorhandenen nationalen Etappen verlinkt; eine "grosse" GPX-Datei mit allen Routen für den Eigengebrauch sollte sich nun relativ einfach erstellen lassen. Natürlich muss man sich beim Fahren der Route nicht an diese Etappen halten, aber die Etappen-Ziele sind immer Städte mit einem guten Angebot an Hotels und SBB-Mietvelos - ich nehme daher an, dass die Etappen darum auch häufig genau so gefahren werden.

Zudem finde ich die Bearbeitung/Überprüfung von kleineren Relationen einfacher. Eine Relation mit vielleicht 1'000 Weg-Abschnitten wäre da viel unhandlicher..

segmented routes

I've noticed that many (or all) of the gpx routes in National Route 3 & 4 are segmented, ie they jump around.

url vs website key

Why using the url=* tag and not the website=* tag? According to their descriptions, the website tag is more appropriate, if there is going to be just one official page. Puma (talk) 23:37, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
