Make this a property?
Thinking more about this, and as it is still a young tag, I propose to make this a property like bubbler=yes/no. Reason is that this is mainly a criterion about the functioning of the fountain, while the other types are about the form, shape and making. This type for example already collides with fountain=stone_block in some cases. See this picture for illustration:

- I don't quite get why it's less preferred. "Stone block" seems to be something about material=* and geometry, not the "fountain" water source itself. Likewise, Key:fountain#Common_specific_types could made into more about architecture. ---- Kovposch (talk) 06:58, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
- Agree with Kovposch in that 'stone block' is the material of the waste receptacle. The 'block' does not signify a cube either. In general that is a poor value. In general ... 'fountains' are a mess. Some waste receptacles are stainless steel, some are cast iron with some coating, some concrete and possibly others. Warin61 (talk) 08:51, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
'bubbler' is American, should not 'drinking fountain' be used?
'bubbler' is used in some parts of America and some parts of Australia. In the UK the term 'drinking fountain' is used. This does lead to confusion with 'decorative fountains'. Warin61 (talk) 08:43, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
