Delete this page

The tag is outdated. Today we use highway=path to map hiking trails. --Rudolf 08:09, 16 July 2012 (BST)

Documents some existing data and the old documentation may be needed in the future if trail is proposed - do not delete. Path has quite some problems btw. RicoZ (talk) 14:00, 9 August 2015 (UTC)

Agreed. Do not delete this page. 1) The tag is in use and should therefore be documented. 2) highway=path has serious problems even though some deny it. 3) A simple way to map and tag trails/paths is needed (although some deny it), and this tag could be used for that. – Tractor, 20 August 2015.
