Overnight camps or day camps only?
Is this tag being used for day camps only, or also for summer camps where children stay overnight? --Jeisenbe (talk) 16:30, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
- My impression was that it is meant for camps where they stay for a week or three in huts. But certainly it might suit some day facilities as well. --Polarbear w (talk) 18:06, 5 July 2019 (UTC)

Infrastructure necessary?
After reading this page, I wonder if leisure=summer_camp is only meant for sites where there is infrastructure that is exclusively used during the summer or for empty fields on which scout groups put tents during their summer camp as well? I know that in Belgium scout campsite is the main purpose of many of these fields. During the summer months two or three groups would follow each other up in using the ground and during the rest of the year the ground can be considered meadow. As an example these two websites: dutch:jeugdverblijven.be and french:votrecamp.be contain camping sites for youth organisations in belgium, some have infrastructure and others do not. --Lowiecode (talk) 08:43, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Winter camp ?
Some are opened usually for holidays in summer, but also winter (for discovering skiing).

- Yes I see this tag as being used regardless of the actual season the camp operates in, if it's only used seasonally it should be tagged with seasonal=* and maybe opening_hours=*. --Aharvey (talk) 22:08, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
Hostel, (summer) camp or dormitory ?
Look like tourism=hostel except that all rooms are used by a same group of children.
Seem to be building=dormitory ?
