aeroway=tower
Sometimes aeroway=tower is used for the same purpose. Which tag of both should be preferred?--geozeisig (talk) 09:33, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
It also is very confusing why both wiki pages service=aircraft_control and aeroway=tower are almost completely identical? Markkerrigan (talk) 02:17, 6 September 2022 (UTC)

tower:type=observation
Shouldn't the tower:type usually be observation?
You can see for SYD https://osmcha.mapbox.com/changesets/64034152/ I've added the building tower as tower:type observation and the radar on top as a separate tower:type=radar. Aharvey (talk) 06:07, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
