Illegality

"It should not be used to indicate informal or illegal cannabis sales." - what about situation in US where cannabis sale is AFAIK still illegal under federal law? Maybe rephrase it to "It should not be used to indicate informal or black market cannabis sales"? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 08:32, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

• That's a good point... at the moment these sales are simultaneous legal (licensed by the state) and illegal (forbidden by federal law, currently unenforced.) So I don't want to get rid of the word "legal" but have swapped in "black market" for "illegal". Jmapb (talk) 15:00, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

Can I use this tag for CBD/Hemp shops?

• IMO it's correct to tag these as shop=cannabis, since CBD is a form of cannabis. It would be a good idea to add the tag cannabis:cbd=only to shops that sell CBD but no other types of cannabis. Jmapb (talk) 18:29, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
