General tourist information vs specific information office

How should I distinguish between a general tourist information office, that gives tourists information about what to do in a city and it's surroundings, versus a very specific and local office room that gives information about for example the mall it is located in? --Pbb (talk) 22:10, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

City hall etc. signs

Some signs are very long

Some board_type=welcome_signs are very long, and on air imagery look like a fence etc. So tagging them as ways, not just single nodes, should please be allowed. Yes, even if we can specify their direction=*. Jidanni (talk) 17:05, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
