Definition

I am messed up with the definition...

"where the boats are longer than the river/canal is wide"

Shouldn't it rather the following?

"where the river/canal is larger than the length of boats"

Another (more complete) definition:

"where the river/canal is large enough for the boats to turn back"

I don't think the description is very well written. I think it means only use this tag at turning points on rivers and canals that are too narrow for boats to turn around elsewhere (because they are longer than the river/canal is wide). So don't use it on wide rivers/canals where boats can turn around anywhere. --EdLoach 16:43, 26 September 2011 (BST)
