Talk:Taginfo/Installation

Lesson learned from installing Taginfo:

• After compiling tagstats ( make ) -> sudo make install
• I recommend you to adding: Encoding.default_external = "UTF-8" to config.ru

The "make install" should not be necessary with the current default config. And you don't have to be root in any case! I have added the encoding line to the config.ru in the repository. Joto (talk) 07:56, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

Debian dependencies

Just a heads up: I have edited the list of dependencies needed on Debian based distributions:

• libgd2-xpm-dev is gone, replaced by libgd-dev
• sqlite3-pcre was missing from the list

From what I can tell my edit shouldn't break anything for anyone using an older distribution. --JeroenHoek (talk) 19:35, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
