Conflation process

Can you describe how you will reconcile the existing addresses with the new datasets? How will you handle minor spelling differences, or addresses that are on OSM but not in the open data?

In this particular situation, integration with existing data is not a problem. There are only 60 addresses in the OSM database, almost all of which are those I collected surveying the region ;-)

But basically, I described the issues of dealing with preexisting data in the "Problems and improvements" section, briefly: existing addresses will be left untouched, evident errors like minor spelling differences e.g. "Via Rom" would be corrected to "Via Roma" Szydzio (talk) 16:43, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
