Data Import
国土交通省の「国土数値情報」(KSJ2) のインポートを考えています。ライセンスがPublic DomainやCC-BY-SAではありませんが、約款では出典の明記のみが利用条件になっているのでCC-BYに近いです（ウィキペディアのCopyrighted free useと同等）。賛否やご意見等をお願いします。現在、鉄道データをOSMの形式に変換するスクリプトを作っています。
I'm planning to import "National-Land Numerical Information (KSJ2) by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport(MLIT), Japan". Their license is not Public Domain nor CC-BY-SA, but it is similar to CC-BY or is very close to Copyrighted free use of Wikimedia Commons since their terms of use requires us to do a citation of the source only. Now I'm making scripts to convert railway data to OSM format. Comments welcome. -- Tatata 20:17, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Coastline problems
I spent a lot of time about 6 months ago (alongside other contributors) making sure that the coastline of Japan was complete and error free. It now looks like it has dissapeared completely when viewing the Osmarender layer. Does anyone know what's happened? Thanks - Daveemtb 09:12, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Yahoo coverage

Contour Maps
Hi, Im making Garmin .img Contour maps at 10m detail. Im using the 1x1 degree ComputerTeddy sized files from GroundTruth, and i have them available, linked to my Wiki page http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User:Acrosscanadatrails#Japan_Work Should these be added to the local city/town pages as a resource? Problems with coasts

Removing "WikiProject" prefix
Hi, I am Daniel, from Spain. I would like to change the name of the wiki pages related to the Japan mapping project to remove the "Wikiproject" prefix following the pages name conventions.
The name of the pages related to the Japan mapping project would be "Japan" (name of place) instead of "Wikiproject Japan", as recommended by the wiki conventions. It is a change that I have already made in United States, Canada, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Norway, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, India, Russia, France, and all Spanish-speaking countries on this Wiki (and more).
