The second UK Quarterly Project of 2022 is Retail.

Things to do

  • Map the shops!
  • When a shop has closed, don't delete it's node, but follow the Life cycle. Remove shop=* and add disused:shop=*.
  • Add shop addresses from FHRS Open Data and other sources.
  • Re-survey existing streets to look for changes, and fill in any missing shops. The Linear Maps tool provides printable pages to help with this.
  • Micro map retail areas, add sidewalks, bins and other "minor" details.
  • Fix shops with old fhrs:id=*. MapRoulette Survey Me! FHODOT
  • Check for shops that have been untouched in a long time. Overpass Turbo
