Big believer in open source data and applications. Currently working around Kerang/Swan Hill so I will be collecting and contributing data in that area. Studied cartography at RMIT so I guess mapping is in my blood :) Not a big fan of the imagery so I will only upload data that has been collected by (the work) GPS which is a trimble GeoXH which, once post-processed, has an accuracy of <30cm - more than sufficient.

The task of mapping Bendigo will be made a little simpler as I am an orienteer. The Bendigo Orienteers have agreed to provide their maps for inclusion into OSM. I have started loading streets/paths on the orienteering maps (using geowarper to rectify them). Have been making good progress on getting the streets into OSM, now have to do the detail.

SA/VIC Border

As far as I am aware the SA/VIC border does not follow a line of longitude. According to [1] and [2] the border is approximately 3.6km to the west of the 141 longitude.
