I have been mapping in Torbay and South Devon on and off since the end of 2007. I have mapped most of Torbay and a lot of the surrounding villages and rights of way.

On the whole this is a good project but I would prefer OSM to adopt a less restrictive CC-BY style license. The current license favours project insiders (which was probably the idea) but anyone else needs to take expensive legal advice to understand it which I think restricts use of the project data. The OSM license has also been used in the UK to restrict use of OpenData, even that released under a very open license, which I don't think benefits data quality long-term.
