I used to live just outside & work just inside the M25, on the Essex side of London, bu moved back to the Isle of Wight in October 2009. I first came to this project through Linux user groups & geocaching activities, and had previously been trying to play with some map data, but found frustration with the OS restrictions.

I've mostly been working on the Dagenham to Basildon area from 2006-2009, and will be concentrating more on improving the level of detail on the IOW from now on. That said, I've edited as I go through Russia, the Baltic, South America & Antarctica, Africa and the middle east on holidays.

All my contributions to OpenStreetMap are released into the public domain. This applies worldwide. In case this is not legally possible, I grant anyone the right to use my contributions for any purpose, without any conditions, unless such conditions are required by law.
