A way to map Points of Interest that accept a local currency, or places that organize a complementary currency: e.g. time-based currency, or any local exchange trading system.
According to ISO 4217, currency codes are three charecters long, and X as first character, is used for special currencies.
Let's create a code for LETS :
- starting with an X
- followed by
- LT for
LETS
or - TM for time-based currency
- LT for
- followed by a - for clearance
- followed by a four letters code. This four letters should be unique in the currency base scope. (It should be 17576 combinations of 26 different letters)
Tagging LETS points of interset
- a POI : currency:XLT=XXX
- accepting cash : payment:cash:XXX-XXX=yes/no
- accepting contactless : payment:contactless:XXX-XXX=yes/no
- accepting SMS : payment:sms:XXX-XXX=yes/no

Filling the table
Add a line according to the alphabetic order of the four letters code, using the LETS entry template, and provide the informations as follow :
- name
- The name of the LETS
- info
- a short description of the LETS
- symbol
- the symbol of the LETS, if exists
- base
- the currency on witch the LETS is based (ISO code) e.g. EUR, USD
- cash
- if there is cash (bills) for this LETS
- contactless
- if there there is a contactless system for this LETS
- sms
- if this LETS provide a sms payment system
- website
- the url of the LETS website
- map
- the url of a map of POIS for this LETS (jelps filling OSM)
- wikipedia
- if there is a Wikipedia page for this LETS
